Lets talk about Niacinamide Serum

Hi All,

It's been a long time i have posted in my blog. Here is a product review after a long time. Do read and share your views.

So let’s talk about what is Niacinamide?

Niacinamide which is also called as Nicotinamie is a form of Vitamin B3. This is a water soluble vitamin that works with natural substance in your skin.

What does Niacinamide do to our skin?

  1.  Improves uneven skin tone.
  2.  Refines the appearance of pore size , skin texture and fine lines.
  3.  It also helps in skin barrier.
  4. Also reduces acne , pigmentation from the skin.
  5. It also helps in regulating oil from sebaceous glands.

How to use Niacinamide in your skin care routine?

Morning:

CLEANSER -> TONER(optional ) -> NIACINAMIDE -> MOISTURISER -> SUNSCREEN

Night:

CLEANSER -> TONER (optional) -> NIACINAMIDE -> MOISTURISER

Here i am going to review my first active which i have incorporated in my skincare. Its from the brand SUGANDA

Price : 699-/

Availability@suganda.co

Ingredients:

Niacinamide 10% , Pathenol 1% , Hyaluronic Acid 0.5%, Centella and green tea.

My Experience with Suganda Niacinamide:

This is my first actives which I have started in my skincare routine and it is the second bottle which I have been using and last few drops is available.

The colour of the Niacinamide is not transparent it is little brown in colour because of the green tea extract added.

I started Niacinamide by adding 2-3 drops on damp skin on both morning and night. And my skin started getting irritated. And I stopped using it for a week.

Then I gave a time and started taking it slowly. I added a 2-3 drops in the moisturiser for a month so that my skin gets used to actives. After a month I started applying it directly only in the night .

After using it for more than 4months I could see a difference in my skin it helped in controlling the oil in my face. It has reduced my acne and acne marks to some extent. And my skin is healthy too.

Note :

1. Always start with a low concentration. Suganda has come up with the 5% of Niacinamide serum. Or you can use their white lotus moisturiser which contains 3% of Niacinamide.

2. The dropper shouldn’t touch your skin.

I have been using Niacinamide is some or other form as a serum or in a moisturiser with Niacinamide added on it.
Skincare is subjective what suits my skin might not suit you.
